Events

The Tour will take place in the Oakland Cemetery area. The gates will be opened at 6:30 P.M., and the tour starts at 7:00 P.M.  As you make your way through the gate, you will see the Tour Vehicle down the road in front of you. Please park your car behind the vehicle and check in. The price of the tour is $30. Please bring a $20 bill and a $10 bill as we cannot make change or take credit card payments. However, checks are accepted. We will give you a complimentary t-shirt for coming to the Cemetery and taking the tour. Once everyone has arrived, the tour will begin. It should last about 2 1/2 hours. Cameras are allowed, and so are dowsing rods if you have some. Sexton John Rains makes them in the cemetery shop and they are for sale. Linda, the Tour Guide, will be using rods throughout the tour and will demonstrate how to use them. If you have any questions, please call Linda at 501-681-3857.
